EEK is India's leading manufacturer and OEM supplier of machined shank hooks, ramshorn hooks and crane block assemblies. Forged in-house, machined to specification, NDT-inspected and proof-load tested in our 250-tonne Government-approved Test House — with full material traceability on every piece.
Manufactured to IS 3815, IS 15560, IS 5794 and BS 3017 — capacities up to 80 t as standard, larger by enquiry.
From billet
to certified hook.
Every EEK hook passes through four stages — each documented, each signed off. The same protocol governs the smallest 1-tonne shank hook and the heaviest 80-tonne crane block.
Open-die forging from traceable steel billet at the right grain flow. Fully heat-treated — normalised, quenched, tempered.
Finish-machined to the specified standard — IS 3815 / 15560 / 5794 / BS 3017 — on dedicated CNC and conventional mills.
Magnetic particle, dye-penetrant or ultrasonic non-destructive testing. Critical zones inspected per the standard.
Loaded in our 250-tonne in-house test house. Certificate witnessed and countersigned by a Competent Person.

Every hook is stamped with the heat number that ties it back to the steel mill certificate. Lot-level traceability from billet to finished product.
Magnetic particle, dye-penetrant or ultrasonic non-destructive testing of critical zones — saddle, neck and shank — per the relevant standard.
Tested in our 250-tonne in-house Government-approved Test House. Certificate signed by a Competent Person — Director General & Chief Inspector, Dock Safety.

Stamped to standard.
Each tile opens the relevant PDF — capacity tables, dimensions, materials and the manufacturing procedure. Hook also stamped with the standard, heat number, WLL and EEK identifier on every piece.
